6-10-17 Recap

Cannons beat Hustle 27-23 to improve to 7-3 on the season. Despite missing three O-line starters (Cole Sullivan, Chris Gibson and Tyler Kunsa), the Cannons take care of business against Atlanta. After taking an early lead, the Cannons kept control throughout the bout. Player of the Game Bobby Ley had three key possession-saving layout catches. Andrew Roney, who moved over to offense, led the team with 8 assists, while Jordon Huston recorded 8 goals. Mike Hickson and Ryan Chard led the team with 2 blocks a piece. With four games remaining, the Cannons control their destiny. The remaining games are RAL, DAL, AUS and NSH with two bye weeks sprinkled in. Next week marks the first bye week, followed by another trip up to Raleigh. Mark your calendar for our final home on July 15 at 7 PM as the Cannons host Nashville to close the regular season. BOOM!
