5-27-17 Recap

Cannons out hustle Atlanta 23-20.

Despite missing several starters, including big names Chris LaRocque and Mischa Freystaetter, the Cannons were able to gain a coveted road win in the AUDL South. Brad Seuntjens and Michael Fairley both came up with 2 blocks.

On offense Cole Sullivan led the team with 6 assists and Jeremy Langdon with 5 goals. Notably, Bobby Ley had an impressive 5 assists, 4 goals and 1 block. The Cannons controlled the game well from start to finish, maintaining the necessary patience to thread Atlanta’s unique zone defense.

This week the Cannons are on the road again, traveling up to Raleigh to avenge the recent one point buzzer beater loss.
The following week marks the second to last home game of the season with Atlanta in town 6/10. It’s time for the playoff push.
