4-30-17 Recap

Cannons throw shade on the Austin Sol, 30-22. The Cannons offered Austin a new look on both sides of the disc. Tyler Kunsa has found a new home on offense while the AUDL’s most dangerous receiver, Mischa Freystaetter, moved over to the defense. Mischa’s big mark on the disc proved troublesome for Austin’s handlers while Tyler brought stability and accuracy to the Jacksonville handler core. The wind certainly played a factor in this game, increasing turnovers for both teams, but that didn’t slow Jeremy Langdon down. Jeremy had yet another big game recording 7 goals, 5 assists and a block.

Defensive veteran Dustin Travaglini, who delivered last Sunday against Nashville, did so again in another impressive performance. Dustin’s pulls put Austin’s offense a step behind point after point. He also came up with three great blocks that swung the momentum back to the Cannons, earning Dustin this week’s Player of the Game honors. This coming week the Cannons have a bye. Next up undefeated Dallas comes to town for our first ever and only Friday home game this season. Join us back at Bolles May 12th at 7:30 PM #BangBang
